Positioning of your building depends on the required use. Consider where the sun comes from, and which way the building will face.

• The Solar shed is better facing the sun. 
• A playhouse may need to be out of direct summer sun but not in total shade.
• A shady position away from the heat of direct sun may be better for a general storage building.
• A potision that becomes excessively damp during the colder months may prevent the exterior surface of the shed from dying out after rainfall.

We recommend that you position your building a minimum of 300mm (12") away from an adjacent boundary fence to allow for maintenance of your building.

Sufficient clearance above the building of all overhanging growth will allow for your building to be correctly and safely installed, and prolong the life of the roofing material.
