A traditional wooden greenhouse looks good and will give you many years of service with glass on all four sides and in the roof.  We have been manufacturing timber greenhouses in Lancashire since 1978 and specialise in manufacturing bespoke timber buildings.

We can, and we do design and manufacture greenhouses for specific purposes. The example below is a "combined shed greenhouse", a greenhouse combined with an apex shed.

Any size, any shape we will build the combined greenhouse and shed for you, some common combinations of which are available from our online shop:

• Full height glass greenhouse
• Timber panelled lower, glass upper greenhouse
• Combined with another building style 

The solar shed, often referred to as a potting shed,  is similar to a pent shed, but with a large glass area on one side to allow the maximum light into the shed to bring on new plants.

The location of a solar potting shed is important. It needs to be positioned in a warm place, not in a damp corner. As the large glass area will allow lots of light in, it should be positioned to have significant direct sunlight during the day, but not necessarily maximum sunlight.

A solar potting shed is:

• Suitable where space is restricted
• Designed for use as a potting shed
• Can be almost any size.
